Welcome!

We believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

Mountain Creek Baptist Church is a Baptist church where the spirit is free to move, where you are loved, it’s a place you can call home.

We have a dynamic Praise & Worship team, loving nursery, fun children’s church and a pastor who still preaches the whole word of God from the Bible every Sunday morning.

We offer bible study for adults, AWANA program for PK-5th grade students and #SWAG for teens on Wednesday nights.

Children’s Ministry

We offer several opportunities for children NB to 18 to become part of a great program.  Nursery services are provided through the age of 3 but children are always welcome in our main service.

During Sunday services, we also offer Children’s Church .

Wednesday night service includes AWANA at MCBC, this schedule follows the Jackson County School calendar.

A fun packed Vacation Bible School every summer!

Women’s Ministry

Our ladies currently meet as scheduled in the fellowship hall. We share a meal, fellowship and plan outreach activities. We welcome all ages, as it is our desire to encourage the younger generation to become the young ladies God intends them to be.
Please see our calendar for scheduled events.

Worship

Our Praise & Worship Team is dynamic. They sing a mixture of contemporary and hymns every Sunday. Our Pastor preaches from the bible each week as God directs. He encourages freedom of worship as long as it lines up with the word of God. We broadcast words to our music and the New King James biblical text during each service.

Our Pastor

Tim Strickland

“Our heart & soul is to grow people for God’s purpose.”

I want to connect people with the living and powerful God, to have fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. My call to ministry came in 1992 and I surrendered to full time ministry. I attended the New Orleans Theological Seminary in 1993.  I am so honored that God has allowed me to do this. It is a pleasure to serve my Lord. My heart beat is for people to be a part of the local church as Jesus designed it. Our church is for people who need healing, who are broken.
